New Induction cooking suite for the Royal Society PDF Print E-mail

We were proud to be commisioned by the Royal Society to manufacture an eight ring induction hob / induction cooking suite for their new kitchen at Chicheley Hall.

When I've told people that we are building a stove for the Royal Society they usually ask 'which Royal Society'. I understand there are several 'Royal Society of ......, but, the original 'Royal Society' was formed in 1660 after a lecture on Astronomy by a young Christopher Wren to eleven others. All the other societies e.g. Royal Society of Medicine, Royal Society of Chemistry et al are all offshoots of the original society.

Talk to us if you are buying or specifying a buffet counter. Induction now offers several possibilities which are safer, more accurate and more economical than most other methods of serving hot buffets. Our induction buffet equipment ranges from a simple low power induction heater, to an induction hob with intelligent electronics with accurate temperature control and holding capabilities. Contact us on 01622 872821 for more details. Induction can offer massive advantages for a hot buffet. With induction the only heat is in the pan so the counter is not heated and you provide a cooler fume free environment for your guests.

Induction cooking suite for El Bodegon PDF Print E-mail
June 2010 blog
Monday, 14 June 2010

In June 2010 we installed a new induction cooking suite with french plancha, oven and two double induction hobs in El Bodegon restaurant in Horsham in Sussex. The suite was fitted with a dividing plate to stop fat from the adjacent fryer reaching the worktop four_induction_hobs_plancha_and_oven_2.jpg
Energy savings with Induction Hobs and planchas. We hope to be able to produce a report on El Bodegon, in July 2010. This suite replaced a large four ring electric stove and two electric griddles. We are expecting the induction hobs to be far more efficent and give savings of over £3000 per year. Already the staff are really pleased with how much cooler and cleaner the kitchen is.
