We are proud to announce that following a two week trial the two Michelin star Pied a Terre restaurant in the West End of London has ordered one of our countertop induction hobs
Induction hobs and induction cooktops are one of the most efficient forms of cooking for catering because the induction coil sends over 90% of the energy used directly into the pan. With all conventional forms of cooking the energy is used to heat something which then heats the pan. With an induction hob the pan is the heat source so caterers can effortlessly increase their efficiency
Why induction hobs are cleaner
Using induction hobs or induction wok cookers for catering is cleaner because there are no combustion fumes from burning gas or burning spillage. The only heat in the cooking surface is that which comes from the pan, because the induction cooker stays much cooler than a standard electric or gas cooker the food does not burn on to the ceramic glass. The induction hob is one of the cleanest forms of cooking for caterers
